News: AGL Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

May 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Wednesday:

** Australian tech billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes' firm Grok Ventures said it settled a 11.28% stake purchase in AGL Energy (AGL) worth A$650 million ($455.33 million) with J.P. Morgan.

** Electric aviation and air travel company Surf Air Mobility (SAM) said on Wednesday it would merge with a blank-check firm and commuter airlines Southern Airways Corporation, in a deal valuing the combined entity at $1.42 billion.

** A subsidiary of Shell plc, BG International, signed a farm out agreement (FOA) with ExxonMobil Egypt to acquire a 100% stake in the Exxon Mobil-operated XOM.N North East El-Amriya offshore area, Mediterranean Sea, also known as Block 3, a Shell statement said.

** Germany's Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE is mulling a bid to buy the third of Siemens Gamesa SGREN.MC it does not already own, the company said , hoping this will help it fix long-standing problems at the Spanish-listed wind turbine maker.

** Dutch pension investor APG and OMERS Infrastructure said they had agreed a deal to buy Dutch renewable energy platform Groendus for an undisclosed sum.
