Can hydrogen really take off? Costs too much to produce, store and transport. Also carbon capture is a costly process as well? Is it even economically viable?
Maybe exporting hydrogen as an energy source to a centralised-Hydrogen to Electricity power plant may work.. But still very unsure.
Looks like the Japanese Car manufacturers are going it alone with Hydrogen. And if unsuccessful, it will probably cost their business in the long run.
I personally think it's too costly and not economical to use Hydrogen, in comparison to just renewable energy. What does everyone think?
