There is actually a way of doing it where it brings the dairy farmer along the journey and provides for substantial relief for them as well as opportunity for AHF but alas AHF just isn't looking or thinking this way and seems to have no appetite at all for suggestions as others have indicated in here. A lost opportunity all round for the farmers, AHF and shareholders really. Such a shame.
Picking off farmers through mortgagee purchases isn't the smartest thing to do.
