Yes I think I know why the recent price declines . They have a refrigerated logistics division that the market has been expecting them to sell (eventually) and then return a lot of capital. However the latest news about major write downs at Toll (Japan Post) implies that the logistics/transport sector is not doing so well. And Toll is now likely to stay away from buying the AHG refrigerated logistics business. But there are other potential bidders. Short sellers have since ramped up their activity in the stock , which is now on a 6% yield. I note that Wilson Asset Management has been a big buyer of AHG recently. Always a good sign .
