Agreed. Making a bit at the bottom of the cycle when a lot of bad news is already factored in.

Bit like the opportunistic attempts to bid for companies like Santos (apple & oranges of course but strategy is still the same) when they were trading at $3.50.

I guess the positive here is the merger and not a complete cash takeover, but still , I don't like it.
