Hydrogen fuel cell tech will be riding up the back ends of lithium batteries within 5yrs and lithium will be, for SS, a strategic partner for this future venture and market. SS just want to saturate and service the current lithium market with a massive customer base and, in time, add the hydrogen fuel cell tech to their suite of armoury thus having 2 major energy businesses with a breathtakingly massive global marketplace.

Therefore, SS will initiate a TO asap, definitely within 6mths. They can't afford to wait as they can't miss out on "spreading their tentacles everywhere" in the quickest possible time.
