It looks like there is a good chance that these proposals will not suceed. The only candidate who would follow through with them is Sergio Massa the current economy minister and he is behind the two other candidates in the polls. He may have razor thin lead in the poll described below where all candidates are available to choose from. But in a direct comparison with one of the other candidates his clearly loses. The radical libertarian candidate would never endorse Massa for a second round if he loses the first round. The question is what the "center right" candidate Bullrich would do if she loses the first round. I am not enough of an expert yet to answer this question. One thing is for sure, the opposition and many people in the country, those who do not directly benefit too much from the system, should be really pissed with the government. My uneducated guess is that Bullrich might endorse Milei if she loses the second round.

Here it is stated that these plans could be quickly scrapped if either Milei or Bullrich would win. (certainly if Milei wins)"Any proposals could be quickly scrapped with a change in government. Argentines vote in presidential elections on October 22. Opposition candidates Javier Milei and Patricia Bullrich, both of whom gained momentum in a primary vote last month, promise to deregulate the economy."
