At these levels , surely it flushes out Rio to take over AKE ? Maybe Rio’s logic was to wait until after the merge, but on the back of MIN, Gina, ABL, and SQM making recent moves/blocking stakes etc, they could act now, and then bite off Livent at even lower prices down the track as the market reacts to failed merge?
