Good to see Beach and Karoon mentioned in a recent post. One of the main reasons i initially invested in MEO some time ago (now MAY), was an uncanny similarity to an investment i had made a long time ago by the name of Beach Petroleum (BPT). During my ownership of BPT, similar goings on to what is happening now with MAY were in play and there were many nervous times for investors. It took many years for the BPT vision to become realised and it was a major game of patience. Beach Energy is now a dividend paying company and a stellar performing company in the sector (originally established in the 1960's). It is possible that the Cuban play MAY turn out in a similar fashion to the operations with a focus on the Cooper/Eromanga Basin that Beach had in the 2000's. If so we could be witnessing the birth of another great Australian start up in the sector. Granted it has been a long while, but if you look at the timeline of Beach it will give you a better perspective of what Oil and Gas timelines are all about, and the potential fruits that lie in successful field development. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS COMRADES!
