re: News: AlgaeTec showcase facility visit fr... tretch: Thanks for a rational response, they're rare in the AEB discussions! I disagree with some of what you've said, but you raise a few good points.

On climate change, I don't think it's valid to say that you can prove anything on anything by skewing statistics. The data clearly shows that many many times before humans existed, the extreme of climate and the rate of warming has exceeded current levels. That's not misrepresenting things, it's not deceptive, it's just a clear fact and one which the alarmists constantly deny.

Yes, I do agree that humans are having some effect on the climate, but it's not a doomsday effect, it's just a little push and nothing outside normal, natural levels. The data clearly shows that and it's completely bizarre that such obvious information is ignored by almost everyone, including the people touting themselves as experts, or the ones claiming to have researched the topic.

You ask "What if I'm wrong?". Well, either way, it changes nothing. Take a moment to look and think about the way the world is run. It doesn't matter whether it's right or wrong, we do what is profitable. The fact that AEB's main points in the interview this thread was based on revolve around economically irrelevancies is a concern in terms of making money. They don't even seem to be appealing to people wanting to make money, they seem to be wanting to suck in those who want to put money into something which makes them feel like they're helping the world, and using that to make them think it's a good deal for them. If you're a philanthropist, sure, throw your money in for the small chance of helping the world, but if you want to make money this seems to me like a very poor bet.

You're quite right about the military not making its own oil, but I can't see them going with AEB as their main supplier. The military is going to want some big giant to do it, not some small cap.

For a while now I've been called crazy for predicting a short term price drop, but we're seeing multi year lows. I'm guessing everyone here is sitting on a loss, and if anyone who had been calling me crazy had wanted to they could have sold out when I was saying it was going down, bought back in today and been better off. I still think now is a good time to be selling. I am sure most, maybe all of the same people will be calling me crazy.

    Good luck :)

DYOR, this is not advice, etc. etc.
