I’m with madam on this, AMC is the global leader and will either develop or acquire said processes. A lot of the noise around the world on green issues is from the vocal minority - climate alarmists. Whilst I agree we need to do more for the environment (my views are more radical such as population growth limits in the third world), I don’t see AMC being disrupted as it has the scale, cashflow and knowledge to leverage out to new technologies.

I wouldn’t be using Tesla as an exemplar, it’s technically insolvent and only viable due to billions every year raised from hopeful speculators. It’s competitors, the industry leading car manufacturers have actually caught up. All the majors now offer vastly cheaper and better electric cars. Albeit funded internally from existing cashflow, not pie in the sky dreams like Tesla that is cash flow negative in the billions pa and consistently raises equity and debt. My personal opinion is Tesla will most likely end up bankrupt or be taken over at a much lower price than it is today. Ie the point at which investors stop foolishly throwing good money at a bad company. A global credit crunch like 2008/2009 would also see Tesla bankrupt.
