I wonder if AMI is going to use part of their cash pile to become a cornerstone investor in PEX who are in a trading halt pending an announcement on a capital raising. I hope they do as PEX has great ground in Cobar and AMI is ideally placed to treat the PEX discoveries at their two plants or finance a third.
AMI talked about rationalisation in the Cobar region in a recent presentation.
AMI could be the mega producer in the exploration hot spot in Australia.
Today's sell off was irrational for a predominantly gold producer with forward sales covering most of this years production.
