    IMO proving that some people did something wrong is the easy part. ASIC and the RC have already done that. No brainer. But trying to prove beyond doubt that this is the direct and sole factor that caused the SP to drop is tenuous at best. I would rather see AMP fight these class actions to the death, than give in and offer some sort of compromise to "just make it go away". It is worrying for aus business that we seem to be going this way of vigilante style class actions. Australia already has a world class legal and regulatory framework to protect people to a reasonable degree (and as AMP already indicated, ASIC was already all over this matter) but this should not act as a guarantee of never losing out in a speculative market. Just my opinion.
