I try to be balanced or offer a range of views on AMP as I (and you) have been accused of being negative on AMP, even though I hold the stock.
My own view is that these transactions will not add value from the current price. They will only prevent further losses from current levels. It will cement in AMP having a $3 base value in the absence of further news.
Bell Potter has now taken an even more negative view on the transactions.
