Some WTF-news yesterday on Reuters:
"Top producer Albemarle risks shutting German plant if EU declares lithium a hazard".
You can google the full article. It states Europe wants to declare the hydroxides as being dangerous thus extra carefull handling will be required.
Europe as I know it (I live here): They jeopardize their own multiple billion Battery Alliance (mining to end-pruduct on own soil) project with new regulations. Imagine the impact on the nay-sayers and trolls with this kinda legislation. Import will still be allowed offcourse by these Oikologist decision makers..

Btw, I am not able to vote for "my" European leaders or their bureaucrazy experts. I live in Belgium, I can only elect belgian politicians into the EU-parliament, mostly the "selfpromoted+failed+old" ones are on the European lists, I cannot vote Vonderleyen, Merkel nor Orban, they live in other countries, but dictate how my country/continent is managed.
Someone sponsor me a Tomato, and I'll throw it to the EU-buildings in Brussels lol.
