Greenvale Mining (GRV) has exercised its option to acquire the remaining 20 per cent of shares in Knox Resources.
As a result, the company is now the 100 per cent shareholder of the NT-focused exploration company. In addition to consolidating Greenvale’s ownership of Knox, the acquisition also provides complete possession of the Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG) exploration licenses.
The IOCG project, measuring 4475 square kilometres, is a highly prospective exploration license portfolio within Australia’s Georgina Basin. The company intends to leverage Government-funded exploration initiatives in order to unlock potential at the Basin’s unexplored region.
