The truth of the matter is that we dont really know what $/cbd point (benchmark standard) we are getting for the DL deal. The deal is for "less than 30% of crop for $10.5 mil USD. ( lets suppose that crop is 900K lbs & the offtake is for 260K lbs)
If for example the %age CBD is as per hempbrokers listing of CLI's crop and if DL is getting Berry Blossom (15%-18% CBD) averaging 16.5% CBD then we have:
*10.5 mil/260K X 16.5 = $2.45/CBD point
The latest Hemp Benchmarks (late Oct 2019) lists a low of 99c & a high of $3.70 /point CBD
*This falls well within Benchmarks' parameters at what is argueably the low point of the year pricing with a reasonable prospect of prices improving early 2020.
