Oct 17 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Monday:
** Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund ADQ said it had made an offer to take a controlling stake in Abu Dhabi Aviation ADAVIATION.AD and merge the helicopter operator with ADQ stakes in Etihad Engineering, AMMROC and GAL to create a "globally competitive aviation business" with about 9.4 billion dirhams ($2.56 billion) in assets.
** Equinor EQNR.OL is considering buying British oilfield assets from China's CNOOC 0883.HK for between 20 billion and 30 billion Norwegian crowns ($1.9-billion-$2.8 billion), Norwegian newspaper DN reported , citing unnamed sources.
** Shares in ITV ITV.L jumped 7% in early deals, lifted by a Financial Times report that it is considering selling a stake in its production arm ITV Studios.
** CACEIS, the asset servicing business owned by French bank Credit Agricole CAGR.PA and Spanish bank Santander SAN.MC , has struck a preliminary deal to buy the European asset servicing business of RBC Investor Services RY.TO .
** Australian lender Westpac Banking Corp (WBC) has roped in investment bankers from U.S. banking giant JP Morgan to advise it on a bid to buy payment terminals firm Tyro Payments Ltd (TYR) , the Australian Financial Review reported.
** Australian natural gas operator APA Group (APA) said it had proposed to buy electricity interconnector Basslink Pty Ltd for A$773 million ($480.3 million) from administrators to expand its energy transmission footprint.
** Singapore-based digital wealth advisor Endowus has acquired a majority stake in Hong Kong-based wealth manager and multi-family office Carret Private Investments Limited, it announced .
** U.S. chipmaker Broadcom AVGO.O will seek early European Union antitrust approval of its proposed $61 billion buy of cloud computing company VMware VMW.N by pointing to competition from Amazon AMZN.O , Microsoft MSFT.O and Google GOOGL.O , people familiar with the matter said.
