Aug 25 (Reuters) - Buy now, pay later firm Afterpay (APT) reported a bigger annual loss on Wednesday, hit in part by employee stock payments and the cost of expanding into new markets.
The Australian company, which is set to be scooped up in a $29 billion buyout by Jack Dorsey's Square SQ.N , reported a statutory loss of A$159.4 million ($115.66 million) for the year ended June, compared with a A$22.9 million loss a year earlier. ($1 = 1.3782 Australian dollars)
