How about mentioning the losses where due to expansion spending, not income losses. In fact, revenue soared just as a "good proper business" would dream of.
Gotta keep spending and reaching for the stars and soon, very soon, you will have global dominance (look at other companies history such as Tesla). Would be rather depressing being in business with you down rampers, too scared to run the race.
