I'm fairly confident that CBA would have approached APT. APT have stated clearly in the past that they don't want to be anything like a bank, let a lone associated with one. Thus, it's pretty obvious that if they were approached, discussions didn't go very far.What this all tells me is that Afterpay are confident in their ability to expand and the early traction definitely supports this.
