Nov 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1400 GMT on Thursday:
** Brazilian hospital chain Rede D'Or Sao Luiz SA RDOR3.SA announced late on Wednesday the acquisition of Hospital Arthur Ramos, located in the northeastern city of Maceio, in a 372 million real ($67 million) deal.
** Brazilian equipment rental company Armac Locacao Logistica ARML3.SA said in a securities filing late on Wednesday it had agreed to acquire forklift rental company Bauko for 213 million reais ($38.2 million), including debt.
** Southwestern Energy Co SWN.N agreed to buy Blackstone-backed GeoSouthern's assets in the Haynesville for about $1.85 billion, betting on rising gas prices and the field's proximity to the growing U.S. Gulf Coast export hub.
** Novartis AG NOVN.S said it would sell its nearly one-third voting stake in Roche ROG.S back to its cross-town rival for $20.7 billion, disentangling the two pharma companies that had been linked by the investment for two decades.
** British lender Metro Bank MTRO.L said it has received a takeover approach from U.S. private equity firm Carlyle Group CG.O .
** German online pet supplies retailer Zooplus ZO1G.DE slashed its 2021 core profit target by half, blaming takeover transaction costs as private equity firms Hellman & Friedman (H&F) and EQT gained investor approval to buy the company for 3.7 billion euros ($4.3 billion).
** UK-based e-mobility firm Bedeo said it has acquired Protean Electric from China Evergrande Group's 3333.HK automotive unit.
** Britain's biggest sportswear retailer JD Sports JD.L must sell Footasylum, the UK antitrust regulator said after it found the combination of the two sportswear chains could hurt competition and leave consumers with fewer choices.
** Square Inc SQ.N shareholders have approved the issuance of new shares for the U.S. company's $29 billion purchase of Afterpay Ltd (APT) , bringing Australia and the buy now, pay later sector's largest buyout a step closer to fruition.
