I still question the shopping experience Apple will be able to provide. We know Paypal has struggled because it really has no relationship with the consumer, it's an afterthought at the checkout, not a place of origin, a digital shopping platform which drives somebody to a product. I see Apple in a similar vain, the only time I would use apple to search out a product is with the apple app store or itunes. I struggle to see how Apple can give me a shopping experience, and one that is wide as I would like. A consumer wants to be able to do as much as they for as cheap as they can with one experience, APT does this, Paypal and CBA do not. I'm not sure this is where Apple will necessairly go either?

Without knowing the full details of the product, I'd be inclined to think Apple will use this as a way to provide payin4 for existing cusomters rather then take on APT/Affirm/Klarna directly.

Competition was always coming, which is why getting APT consumers as sticky as possible is so important. Not to pick on Z1P, but this is where aaccount keeping fees are really going to hurt them in the long run. You simply can't give a consumer a reason to leave when competition arrives.

Validation of the future of BNPL…Apt will have to think about the vanilla, it will not last forever….pathetic they do not even know how to do credit checks when they are in the business of lending. Zip fee model will prevail because zip is providing longer credit and nothing comes free
