With regards to Airnorth, AQZ has one E190 aircraft on dry lease, painted all white. AQZ also have another E190 on occasional dry hire to them.
This leads to Airnorth, rather than being a competitor, being reliant on AQZ for its day to day operation. Airnorth is solely an Embraer operator and, in my opinion, would be a good acquisition for AQZ. It was rumoured to be for sale but for too high a price. AQZ management are as shrewd as it gets. They won't rush in and buy just because the opportunity might be there.
