My earlier post https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-trading-update-covid-19-response.5300791/page-27?post_id=44129745 and seeing the flying schedule repeated a fortnight later would suggest that Newcrest has adopted the same two weeks on / two weeks off roster approach at Telfer.

While the need for social distancing reduces the number of passengers on each flight, the QAN commentary suggests that in their case total FIFO flying hours are down.

So rather than being commodity specific, it appears to be miner specific in terms of changes to their roster.

AQZ in their 23 March update weren’t specific on whether they were actually going to be doing more FIFO flying, rather they pointed out that they had plenty of capacity to do so if the demand was there. All the reason why the share price run up is puzzling!
