Ardent Leisure Group (ASX:AAD) has reported an increase in revenue of 14.1 per cent to $250.6 million for the first half of Fiscal 2014. Statutory profit increased 5 per cent to $22.5 million for the same period.



The owner of Main Event, a health club chain and the Dreamworld theme park pointed out the increasingly stable US economy boosted its pay-per-view TV revenue by 32 per cent. Revenue from theme parks also showed strong growth.



The company says a focus on product innovation and a reduction in gearing by nearly 8% during H1 will continue to drive growth in H2.
