Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX:ALL) may have wide-screen pokies to thank for an increase in machine sales.
The Australian Financial Review reports that Aristocrat’s pokies accounted for 46 per cent of June installations across pubs and clubs in NSW, a jump from the previous 36 per cent in May and 24 per cent for June.
Chief executive Jamie Odell is reportedly targeting a return to average ship share of a mid-30s percentage.
At the end of June, Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) decreased its stake in Aristocrat from 10.63 per cent to 6.34 per cent of the voting power.
Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX:ALL) reported a profit of $77.751 million in the second half of 2010.
