These are then used for products manufactured overseas and contained as a small part of batteries and other end uses. The actual demand for raw REE can be met by MP and miners in countries outside China. Where, for example, they don't have the Wyoming requirement that open pits be filled. Not that the REE at Halleck is shallow enough to allow that method.
