    Once again, and your quote proves, I did not say the VIDEO showed a symbol on the road. I believed there was one from reports in the media quoting Sgt Lavos.

    The camera being centre is irrelevant. It is obviously mounted on the bike itself. In any case, what you're suggesting doesn't alter the fact that the car passenger broke a law by opening his door without due care. A law which clearly exists to prevent such an occurrence.

    and btw, anyone has the right to video anyone in public and publish such vision without anyone's consent.... legally.

    And fwiw, I drive about 60000 kms a year thru my work, no infringements for 13 years, and rarely get held up by cyclists. I really don't know what the angst toward cyclists is about. Every cyclist is one less car on the road which is a plus as far as I'm concerned.
