Cloudstreet, I think you are right regarding the banks agreeing to the reschedule. Apart from anything else it should allow them to perfect their security which improves their position in the longer term. However, expect some brinkmanship with announcements being left to the last minute. It is a fairly high stakes game of poker at the moment.
Shrike, btw thanks for the post. It did give me a lift too. I have a holding that is reasonably substantial too and am very much hoping for the same outcome you are. Any indication that things are looking up is much appreciated.
