    I like '...there is a graveyard of such companies.' But I'm not expecting Eagleview to roll-over anytime soon.

    I think it'll be a hard road for them, but they have the market presence, capital and now (I assume) the capture and publish technology through their tie up with SFI to match Nearmaps offering. They will have to invest a lot in their platform and perhaps re-invent their business model but i'd expect them to be doing that now.

    We'll have to wait and see how well they can do this.

    My expectation is that Nearmap will eat into Eagleviews market share, and the pie will grow, but Eagleview will remain a substantial player in this market.

    Competition will keep NEA lean and agile, and they will need to be as no-one knows when the next disruptor will appear from around the corner.
