I think it is understood that the uranium would have to come up with the rest of the ore. Once up, may as well process it. Also, how much uranium would be left in the tailings? Judging from the (Canada) 20% content to the <<.03% for tailings in Greenland, I think it is a made up problem and I'm sure JM would ease all of the citizens concerns.
I wonder what percent Uxxx the Canadian mines' tailings contain? I would bet >.0 3%
Seems like a no-brainer... Am I missing something?
