What people don't seem to talk about is how much the Greenlanders support Danish business. It is not all one way traffic. Take Carlsberg beer, for instance, this appears to be the primary beverage in Greenland. How many other goods and services do the Greenlanders buy from Denmark. Perhaps, these purchases need to be subtracted from the total, and that is not even mentioning the incalculable cost that the abuse of alcohol has upon the Greenlandic society. It seems many people are looking through a straw and trying to describe the country...really just based on their desires to make money from the mine.
