This would be a terrible outcome.
It’s up to the company and it’s supporters, be they politicians, locals or even international shareholders to ensure that stakeholders (locals etc) are convinced of the merits of the project and that the the mine will be managed responsibly.
The people of Greenland have the right to make these decisions and strong arming them into
submission is a colonial throwback that is both very ugly and doomed to failure.
It’s been said on this forum before but I will reiterate, advocates of the project do themselves or the company no favours by making these types of comments.
