An excellent article and clearly puts all the issues on the table.
I have in the past mentioned many of the points raised in particular China's ambitions.
There is a lot at play now given the upcoming elections.
What will be of concern is how things may also effect US/China moving forward and the EU.
Obviously forgetting about the negative issues the local population would almost immediately see big improvements in local conditions.

At the same time international politics will be at play as to whom will ultimately get the control.

Depending how the election goes in the next month can be win-loss or a continuing division..
Either way GML are still in the box seat.
serious politics are still at Play and who wins that tussle really don't know at this stage.
Clearly China is still always on the longer game and are unstoppable in there continuing rise. But it now really is how Greenland plays it's hand if 1A have a clear win it is then most likely Greenland will possibly stagnate for a little while....
Let's not forget that everyday technology and environmental are improving all the time and in my view....
Clean Safe Nuclear Energy and Rare Earth Are the future versus fossil fuel.

I've mentioned it before but Greenland could be setting the standard.
Most times you only get one chance...........
