What really surprises me with the news of these job cuts is that it has been known to all employees for at least a couple of months yet there has not been any indication in the media or share market forums that this was happening. Can't blame the board who have predicted that the economy is going no where and so gave instructions to batten down the hatches. 10-15% workforce reduction and doesn't even rate a mention.
