Thirdeye, with respect this is where you are wrong. ATS effectively proved their concept does not economically work. They scored 3.5 out of 6 for their drilling campaign. In spending approximately $80mill they got 3.5 fully economic operating wells. At that performance the economics don't work. Get 2 or 3 wells in succession 100% drilled correctly within economic cost and the attraction for future partners turns on its head. If management had confidence in being able to do this why wouldn't they. After all they loaded themselves up with a massive share holding and options on float. They therefore stand to gain enormously! The world oil market and the bigger shale/political picture has little to do with why a future investor/partner can't be found. It's purely the lack of belief and yet to be proven that wells can be consistently drilled between $10-12 mill per well fully completed. Aurora drilled well after well after well at modest costs without a problem. The structure underground in the TMS has proven to date to be very different.
