I think politics also may have something to do with the difficulty the company has had in getting a new partner.
Were the Republicans in power I think the oil industry would have more confidence in taking on new developments and probably we would have found a new partner by now.
Biden made some disparaging remarks early in his term about the oil industry and I think it took some of the confidence out of the industry.
As far as the future goes it is any one's guess, but I can't see the republicans winning.
Nevertheless whoever gets into power I am hoping economic fundamentals will eventually drag out a new partner.
