Important Message!
Look at our neighbour...AME...they have approx. 832,000 oz of Gold (whilst AUN has approx. 946,000 oz of Gold).
We have a processing plant...they don't. From my understanding, It may cost around $15 million to make it fully operational (guestimate), but that is far cheaper than building a brand new one, which could be around $80 to $100 million.
Importantly, our market cap is now approx one-third of AME's (approx.$10m MC vs approx. $31m MC).
So it looks to me that we are oversold.
I personally think the convertible note (CN) was really holding us back, with the market thinking there was no way out of the debt. However, the recent asset sales of minor assets (amongst other arrangements) has allowed us to repay the CN in full and leaves us debt free with an estimated approx. $1m is cash. This is an incredible turnaround.
Remember, we paid approx. $12m for Sandstone alone, but back then Gold was alot lower per ounce, and back then AUN had alot less Gold (i.e. drilling has significantly increased our Gold reserves) since then.
In my opinion, we are looking very cheap.
