News: Ausenco awarded Base Resources contract

    Ausenco Limited (ASX:AAX) has been awarded a contract to work on Base Resources Limited (ASX:BSE) Kwale Mineral Sands project in Kenya.



    The engineering company will provide services to deliver the concentrator and mineral separation plant for the project.



    While the value of the contract has not been disclosed, Ausenco has had previous involvement with Base’s project including the feasibility study and engineering design.



    Ausenco reported a net profit of $26.4 million in the 2011 calendar year.
