Austin Exploration (ASX:AKK) has been granted an ASX trading halt in relation to the Pathfinder oil and gas field in Colorado.
Drilling by the company had intersected oil whilst drilling through the Pierre Shale & Niobrara shale.
A further two Pierre wells were started and subsequently halted due to Colorado State wildlife regulations.
The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being made or the start of trade on Tuesday, 24th March 2015.
