SYDNEY, April 3 (Reuters) - Australia on Wednesday named businesswoman Samantha Mostyn as the country's next governor general, succeeding David Hurley.
Mostyn has worked at senior levels in telecommunications and insurance companies in Australia and globally, and has been chair of Citibank Australia. She will be sworn in on July 1, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said at a press conference.
