    Based on the CPI numbers posted for the "All Groups", I calculate the Annual and Quarterly increases in CPI as follows:

    Annual Increase:
    (CPI March 2023 - CPI March 2022) / CPI March 2022
    (118.6 - 111.6) / 111.6 => 7.0/111.6 => 6.3%

    Quarterly Increase:
    (CPI March 2023 - CPI December 2022) / CPI December 2022
    (118.6 - 118.2) / 118.2 ==> 0.4 / 118.2 ==> 0.3% Increase

    The ABS Release quotes 7.0% annual increase and 1.4% quarterly increase.

    I am sure the ABS figures would be right. Just thought I would post these numbers here!
