You get me wrong mate,Does the meaning of doing good community work give an organisation the right to maintain a 0.0001% of their staff who are pedophiles, and
as they are doing god work, they are to be exempt from reporting such incidents to the authorities ?
At the same time, be granted Tax exempt status from the government.
If the above was a private organisation, with no affiliation to god, can you imagine the horror, and the vengeance the people would
demand ? and rightly so.
IMO money withheld from these organisations, would quickly have them reporting the offenders to the authourities.
In honesty, they have billions of $$ of assets already, so they have no need to stop the good work that you mentioned above.
