Will it be the case if there is SSM, that one gay will say, "I'd like you to meet my partner?" Presumably, if they took the effort to marry, they would have to say, "I'd like you to meet my wife". Possibly, each person in the relationship could change from being a "wife" one week to a "husband" the next and thus change the introduction according to that recognition between them. That will not resolve the issue of two women. How will they introduce their other half? Presumbly, they will wish to introduce them with the marriage commitment clear to the outside party and thus won't want to say "partner" any more. hmmmm

"I wish you to meet my "rainbow"? Nuh, can't work that out at all. Maybe they could have their marriage certificate attached to their jumper and wear it on their backs. When meeting another, they could simply turn their backs and leave it to others to make of it as they choose and thus perhaps just say "Hi".
