Of course there is, higher wages.
If an employee makes a big deal about receiving texts/emails or they are required to be contacted outside work hours, they can now make a claim for higher wages to be compensated for it.
It just makes the 'on call' compensation legally enforceable.
Just another nail in the coffin for Australian productivity.
