It's all quite interesting, not just this case of alleged thuggery - and validated by ANZ's settlement as a true account of events to silence full public disclosure - but also ANZ's general practices are quite questionable.

I was recently advised to avoid dealing with ANZ as they have a track record of not meeting their obligations under the NCCP Act, particularly concerning.

Not flying the flag for the Oswals at all, quite sensational this case, but it's crystal clear what the settlement confirms, merely confirming the conduct that took place and ANZ wishes to keep a lid on it to desperately protect their dented reputation. Very little to do with 'risk' to shareholders as they claim.
