    Sept 13 (Reuters) - Australia's Newcrest Mining Ltd (NCM) said on Wednesday it has restarted production at a second part of its flagship Cadia mine, which was damaged in an earthquake in April.

    Australia's largest independent gold miner said it expects Cadia East production rates to be fully restored to normal by end of March 2018.

    In April, an earthquake forced the company to suspend operations, cutting production by half in the June quarter.
