I don't see selling 100% to ski as a smart move. agree it is nice to have have that guaranteed but lots of things can happen over the time that the agreement was for.
for example if ski decided they didn't want our product anymore and we are fully committed based on the deal. We would be up the creek without a paddle.
A couple of mil to them is nothing, it is a big thing to us though. they could afford to walk at anytime in reality.
I don't know what took place in the discussion but can only assume it was the same old story of the big rich bastard trying to dictate terms to the little guy trying his best to have a go.
If that's the case then we are in a stable position.
why Marcus came and went is a mystery that may be explained at agm. Why Marcus was here in the first place is something I find interesting. Could he have been a short term hire to ensure the best interest of the company was played on this deal?
I am still happy with my investment and the BOD based on my own assumptions and conversations with them in the past.
It is a new era and needs to be treated a bit differently to traditional materials.
