Jejevo prospecting full steam ahead BY CHARLES KADAMANAAn Australian Mining Company Sunshine Nickel and Sunshine Minerals Ltd is ready to carry out prospecting at Jejevo area in Isabel province.The follows the granting of their prospecting licence number 0118 from the Minister of Mines and Energy, Bradley Tovosia.Under the Mines and Mineral Act section 26, the holder of a prospecting licence together with his servants and agents shall have the exclusive right to enter any land in the prospecting area and carry out prospecting.This means Sunshine Nickel and Sunshine Minerals limited now have the rights to;(a) Drill, trench, pit and make excavations(b) Build roads, helicopter pads, erect camps and construct temporary buildings(c) Install or fix machinery(d) Take or direct any public water from any lake river or water courseDirector Pawel Misiec in an interview with this paper said in preparations for further operations Australia geologist and mining engineers with local team have recently held dialogue with three communities within Jejevo tenements area.He said Jejevo Protecting area is now being prepared for further operations. He said for last three months Jejevo team with Australian mining experts have been intensely collecting all historical data and planning the next developments for Jejevo. He said local Jejevo landowners were very excited and together with the Australian team spent many hours discussing the future developments they will invest on.He said is very happy with the data. He said the data collected will allow Sunshine to produce JORC report within next financial quarter. JORC report is an Australasian Code for reporting of Exploration results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves that sets minimum standards of Public Reporting of minerals Exploration results, Mineral resources and Ore reserves.It provides mandatory system for the classification of minerals exploration results, Mineral resources and Ore reserves according to the level of confidence in geological knowledge and technical and economic consideration in public report.This will progress toward Mining Licence application. Sunshine Nickel team has developed very strong bond with local Jejevo community and is very appreciative of the support it has been given from Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification (MMRE). He said without MMRE support and professionalism in collecting data and moving towards producing a JORC for Jejevo would be very difficult. “We are working very hard towards Mining Licence application and future development of the Jejevo deposit,” he said.Misiec said last week visitors from Australia made a due diligent visit in the country in the process of merging with them.During their visit they met with Minister of Mines and Energy Brandley Tovosia, Permanent Secretary Dr Chris, Director of Mines Nicholas Biliki and Director of Investment of Ports.He assures the government and landowners that they will comply with the regulation and rules of the country during the prospecting stage.He said the moment they are on prospecting stage which can pump in 5-6 Million AUD and in the future if they go into mining it will be another investment of 20-25 million AUD.Chief and principal land owner of Vari land Nelson Kile said they are happy to announce an Australia company will merge with Sunshine Mineral to continue with prospecting in Jejevo area.He said next week a board meeting will be held which they will put things together before kicking of the drilling early next year.He said recently they have met with communities at Jejevo area and they are very happy.He said Sunshine Mineral is a guanine mining company and he believes it will bring benefits to the landowners, provincial government and the national government.Photo captionirector and Shareholder of Sunshine Minerals Ltd at Jejevo Nickel tenement area.
